Celestia nosed closer to the statue, touching it gently with a hint of magic. She began to probe the pony caught inside. She backed up after communicating, a smile rose across her muzzle.
“You did well Sister.” she smiled, “He wants to be there, or perhaps he enjoys being a statue. It is very hard to tell with some ponies.” Luna smiled, bringing pleasure to ponies made her feel appreciated and loved.
“He found his friend as well,” Celestia paused, turning to the statue the zebra was facing across the circular clearing. It was a pegasus, her body reared back and upwards, fore-hooves seemed to be joyfully kicking in the air, though they remained still.
“When to we release them?” Luna asked.
Celestia looked at each statue, as if to consider for a moment. It was always hard, finding the perfect statues for the garden. These two had an aura around them, lightening the atmosphere.
“They do fit in so well… It would be a shame to let them out too early. Perhaps we should discuss this in private?”
“We are in private.” Luna stated, confused at what her sister said.
“We should talk over tea.” The Sun Princess smiled, moving herself from the area, Luna trotting promptly behind her.
“I think that…..be happy…….. uries…….”
“…ister!………I……….. ats……el!”
Their voices faded, too far away from statue’s ears to hear. The area was left to itself, no ponies anywhere near it.
Just two statues.
