Description

Middle:

Rubyas, the First: Firstborn son of Queen Umbra. He never opened his eyes since his birth, because they contain his fear-magic. He is not blind however. He is a kind of family-protector. Not entirely evil or good. He is always looking after his brothers and frequently brief Mother about them as her advisor.

Right side from Rubyas:

Nefrit, the Second: The family curse and line of tragedies begin with poor Nefrit. As second-born, and no hope, that Rubyas will have foals, Nefrit tried to give grandchildren to his mother. But a tragedy happened, when both his wife and his son died during the birth. After this, Nefrit became the most brutal dictator of the Twelve Kingdoms. When he invented the rule, that every mare, who gives birth to male foal must be killed, hundreds of ponies fled from his kingdom. If he can’t be happy with family, then noone will. Taht’s the core of Nefrit’s madness.

Kalcedon, the Fourth: Kalce (as his brothers shorten his name), is lazy and cares not much for anyone or anything, except himself. Famine and drought was common in his kingdom, which he tried to solve too late. Ony jealousy reside in his heart, because he think, all of his misery would be gone if he would sit in one of his brothers seat. Which is not ture, because he always ruins everything.

Quartz, the Sixth: Umbra was horrified, when her sixth son was born deformed. She even executed the stallion, who sired him. Quartz is always taunted and humiliated by the cruel members of the family. He showed his cruel side, when he growed up, made a horrible metal armor for himself and claimed a small kingdom. Mother was against it, but Quartz proved to be a good king, so Umbra let him be. He never visits his family. Only in realy important matters. He is suprisingly nice to his subjects, and he was one of the few sons of Umbra, who was loved by the ponies.

Onyx, the Eleventh: Onyx is more like a Spymaster, than a king. He enjoys his shadow-form better, than the common one. He likes to steal from his brothers and know everything about everyone.

Left side from Rubyas:

Citrit, the Third: After withnessing Nefrit’s tragedy, Citrit never ever tried to have a wife. He likes to be the “black sheep” in the family. He love war and battles and made tatoos after every victory.

Opalos, the Fifth: Opal tried to be a master magician since he first withnessed magic. His biggest project was, to find out, what curse is causing the sufferings and tragedies in his family, because he was certain, there is a curse on Umbra’s sons.

Emerald, the Ninth: The favourite son of Umbra. Emerald is a bit girly and loves jewels just like Mother. He was fortunate, that he opened the biggest crystal-mines in all of the Kingdoms. This made him very rich and he basked in luxury. This made him the target for Kalcedon’s jealousy every time they met.

Garnet, the Tenth: Garnet is the strongest and biggest son. He is a champion of countless tournaments and best friend of Citrit. He don’t speak much and maybe not the birthest, but he has a good heart.

Jadeit, the Twelfth: As the joungest son, Jadeit tried everything to be noticed. Most of his brothers tried to protect him, but this made Jadeit only angry. He would do anything to prove, he is strong and this makes him the most dangerous. He makes evil things, just to be noticed by Mother.

Up:

Azurit and Aventurit, the Seventh and the Eighth: The Twins are Umbra’s other favourites, because first she thouth, they are mares (because they inherited her white lock). But no… the boys are big troublemakers and B.F.F.-s. They have to stick togehter, because their magic is stronger, when they are togehter.
