The folder for this background was named “MOAB” or “Mother of all Backgrounds”, which I think isn’t accurate. There’s way more detailed backgrounds, way better drawn backgrounds, hell I’ve drawn more complex before (I think). But at the time of starting it felt like it was. I was a bit overwhelmed by how much detailing this piece was going to take, and got anxious about it. Then I started drawing it and things got clearer and clearer, so the “MOAB” turned out not to be, but just another background that I once again misjudged.
 
And I think the end result isn’t half bad, but I’ll let you guys be the judge of it. It was a ton of fun to work on this piece, and it made me quite sad to stop working on it. I wish I could go back and re-start it (tempts destiny with both hands).
 
I think Moondancer would be super stocked to tend after a super old library full of musty old books. What do you guys think?
