Annie: I……. I think we should take a break……
T: Take a break? From what? We haven’t done anything yet.
Annie: No, I mean……. from each other…
T: * stops walking * W-what? I don’t understand
Annie: Just…… a break from each other…… I’m not really sure how else to put it

Annie: NO! Absolutely not! I love you, T but I just think we need too…… y’know….. spend some time away from one another

Annie: Good. And you should do the same too. I….. really worry about you, T. We’re all have our own dreams and aspirations but…. it seems like you don’t. You’re so busy being a good guy, helping everypony else achieve their goals. You work at Claire’s shop, you help Del on the farm and help him cook, you’re always there when Candy needs someone to assist with carnivals, you help Prism try to find what he wants to do with his life, you spar with Starburst and you read books for me when I’m learning new spells.

Annie: What if you’re missing out on opportunities while helping all of us? We’re all really grateful for your help T, but I think you should do something for yourself for once. Can you do that?

Annie: ……………….. did you know that you and T aren’t the first dragon-pony hybrids to exist?
Claire: I……. no. I wasn’t aware.
Annie: A few days ago, Princess Twilight and I found a book on one. It’s a great legend. Well, not really a legend since it’s been confirmed to be true. You should read it sometime. Anyways, this hybrid was extraordinary. She had many magical powers and was able to control the elements and a whole bunch of other stuff. And she also lived to be around five hundred years old
Claire: F-five hundred?
Annie: Mmhm. I guess dragon-ponies inherit dragons’ long life spans.
Claire: Wow…….. I had no clue.
Annie: I though it was super cool to hear…. but then it got me thinking….
Claire: Oh?
Annie: * sighs * Most of us will be gone, Claire. I’ll be gone.
Claire: Annie……
Annie: With how T is right now, I just don’t know if he’d be able to handle it. I don’t want him to be so attached to me that he won’t do anything when I’m not around. It makes hurts me to think that he’ll do absolutely nothing with his life if I’m gone.
Claire: A-Anthea… don’t you think it’s…. early to be thinking about such things?
Annie: Well, yeah but I can’t help it. I love, T and I want him to be more than just “that dragon that follows Anthea around”. Might as well start early so it’s not too difficult later on.
Claire: I suppose…
Annie: ……. I mean, I guess I shouldn’t worry too much since you and Mr. Spike will be around as well.
Claire: Mmhm

Claire: Yeah.
