The newcomer approached her slowly, flaring his orange wings and shaking his red mane. Im very hostile, actually! he growled, smiling an evil smile. His hooves glowed as he conjured a spell to try and take her down in one fell blow, taunting her. You are mine, and will perish for trespassing upon my sacred lands!  
Emerald stood her ground, rearing onto her hind legs in an effort to be ready to strike him down with all her righteous fury. Her fangs lay bared as she prepared for battle with this, her deadly foe. I will defeat you once and for all, foul creature! she cried at the top of her lungs, standing poised for battle.  
The very air darkened around them, the smell of the swamp and dank woods permeated the air, drifting in sulfurous fumes. The ground was soft under her hooves, and she was ready for a fight.  
But then, all at once, the clouds cleared, the fog went away, and a giant stood in the middle of the clearing, looking down upon them.  
I think there are some ponies in here who need a diaper change! The giant singsonged, turning on the other lights as well. And then I think its naptime, you two sound so very grumpy!  
With that, the giantess plucked the twin combatants into the air, disposing of the source of the stench, and laying them down to have their time asleep in their cribs.  
But little did she know that Emerald Rush, nurse and part-time fighter, was waiting for the opportunity to strike back once again at her most hated foe.
