Originally from the small seaside town of Cape Mare, Ocean Splash entered the water as a foal and never got out. The majority of her day is spent swimming, whether it be plowing through waves (if there are any) or just lazily drifting with the current. Ocean Splash is quiet and a little shy around ponies she doesn’t know, but she’s always friendly and willing to listen when ponies need somepony with whom to talk. With her friends she’s still passive, but is far more open and talkative than she normally is. Ocean Splash is a very anxious mare and spends too much of her life worrying about inconsequential things. She’s also quite sensitive: she takes everything personally and has a tendency to take on the weight of other’s problems when it isn’t helpful or necessary. Ocean Splash represents the Element of Generosity; she moved to a small house in Ponyville next to the local lake to share the joy of swimming with others. She now acts as the local swim coach, giving free lessons to anyone who’s willing to learn. On the side, she runs a small stand where she sells homemade seaweed sandwiches, a dish common in seaside towns but rare in inland places.
