Consisting of a COMPLETE reanalysis of Season 1 and an initial analysis of Season 2, Version 2.0 is at least 220% more accurate and detailed than the original map, as you can see for yourself. I just wish I had gotten this version out sooner instead of leaving y’all with that horrifyingly simplified map for so long…

Anything that is not in the gray blob of streets in Ponyville proper (i.e. within a stone’s throw of other houses so I can guage probable distances) is a rough placement. Examples of rough placement include the entirety of Sweet Apple Acres, Mt. Dragonshy, Froggy Bottom Bog, Canterlot, etc. It’s probably in that general direction and placement compared to the other items on the map, but it could be within a very large range of distances from the other objects.
As Sweet Apple Acres is now just a blob of trees that merges with the Everfree (The Apple farm DOES touch the Everfree! See Ponyville Confidential 18:18ish), here’s a quick guide to which trees are which. Top left corner- plain woods. Wide band of trees from top right to bottom left - Apple Trees. Various portions of the right side - Crops and farming. Far right - Pink trees, wide open plains, and who knows what all else on the far south side of things.
Those big dark tan lines in the middle of town = possible building locations. There’s still a lot of town that we haven’t seen yet, but these are my best guesses as to where buildings could go eventually.
Street names are not official. They’re just the names I use in my head due to the important landmarks that identify them or the famous event that happened on them. Also, the previously named Mansion Street is now Duplex Drive and The Tri is now Penta Park.
And YES you can use this map for whatever you like. I don’t own MLP:FiM or anything in it, so that handles the legal side of things. And I want people to use the map for whatever purposes they can think of (the crazier the better) so that handles the personal side of things. Anywho, here’s to hoping this helps everypony with their projects. I’m looking forward to seeing what turns up.
