You’re probably wondering what happened to Trouble Shoes. I decided to scrap my Appleshoes next gens because I grew out of the ship. At first I shipped Carmel and Applejack because honestly I never really ‘felt it’ with that ship. Then I decided to ship TroubleJack because I’d seen a lot of people ship it and I don’t know, I didn’t know who else to ship her with. The more I thought about it though, I realized that Applejack would eventually get bored and tired of Trouble’s laid back nature. I wanted to put her with someone who had a fiery competitive spirit like herself. Though there are other ponies I could’ve shipped AJ with, I found Hoops the most interesting, I immediately fell in love with the ship.
 
While visiting Cloudsdale one day with the help of a spell from Twilight to see Rainbow Dash perform, the two mares ran into Dumbbell and Hoops. Of course, they teased Rainbow and AJ being AJ, taught them (specifically Hoops) a well deserved lesson, one they wouldn’t forget anytime soon. Though Hoops was the target of AJ’s wrath, he loved the way AJ had stood up to him, the fiery rage and anger she displayed. He also couldn’t get over her eyes. Hoops actually flew down to Sweet Apple Acres to apologize. At first, AJ couldn’t stand him. The more he visited however, she grew fond of him. Eventually, they began dating, got married, and had a son.
 
Yes I know, some people ship Trouble Shoes with Apple Jack, but I don’t anymore so please respect that. Everybody has their reasons for shipping what they ship.
