“No?!” Applejack stomped her hoof on the ground, irritable. “Whaddaya mean ‘no’?!”
 
“I mean, I wanna stay up here and ignore you until you go away!” The little bat creature hissed.
 
“I’ve got the mind to buck yah right outta that tree…” Applejack muttered under her breath. “Vesperus, get down here, right NOW-”  
“LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU KOOKY OLD LADY!!”
 
Applejack was stunned into an angered silence. She then proceeded to yell at the top of her lungs:  
“FLUTTERSHYYYYYY!!!!”

And now we have Fluttershy’s son, Vesperus Rhopalocera, who normally just goes by Vesperus, being a bad kid.
 
Fluttershy fell in love with Vesperus’s father and then they kinda fell apart, so she raises him by herself with the occasional help of Applejack
 
Vesperus isn’t very fond of her
 
Fluttershy’s gonna come to see Vesperus sleeping innocently under the tree, just to spite Applejack
