1.- It’s no secret to anyone that Tempest loves her sweethearts madly, but when it comes to calming the intensity of the soldier, well … let’s say Flash is the secret weapon.
 
The real reason why the authorities dont want to have Tempest for long periods in training camps or in the soldiers academy, is because she terrifies students and I dont mean respect/fear, she literally causes nightmares.  
The unicorn is known to be ruthless and merciless in their workouts, attitude in the her wife/hunband dont like to much. Flash and Twi advises her to take things slowly, especially with severe insults and punishments, of course you are a soldier in training you must learn to be firm and strong, but as a teacher you dont gain anything by stripping them of their inviduality and self-esteem. This talks helps calm her a little but Tempest is very stubborn.
 
When she is in general mode, no one can intervene in her commands not even Twilight, Tempest loves her with all her heart? Yes. But this is her territory and the princess of friendship is not going to come and tell her how to do her job. Unless you’re Flash, she doesnt know why, but for some reason she cannt say no to her little bird.
 
There have been many times when Flash had to save some poor recruits from Tempest’s wrath, it just takes some sweet words and kisses. It looks easy, right? but it’s not, tame the square mind of General Tempest Shadow is an art that Flash took years to perfect even Twilight has her moments when Flash is needed to bring peace, because for her part Tempest is really scared of Twilight when has her episodes.
 
The recruits cant believe what they are seeing, a second ago the tall mare was giving them the sermon and punishments of their lives and now she was a flushed mess. They observe how the general tries to resist the pegasus’s demonstrations of affection, but melts like butter in his arms. With a movement of his hoof, Prince Flash tells them to flee while they can “Oh thank you very much sir, you saved us thanks, bye!”
 
Tempest: “Flash! You cant interrupt me when I’m with the cadets! And less to fill me with all that mushy stuff in their presence! I lose authority!”  
Flash: “Oh really? I thought you liked me to do that, but if it bothers you I can perfectly sleep alone with Twilight tonight~~”  
Tempest:“NO! You know I did not mean that!”  
Flash:“Then, what it is dear?”  
Tempest:”….” “I know what you are doing, and I hate you so much but I hate myself more for not being able to resist you”  
Flash:“Yeah, whatever you say temptation shadow<3”  
Tempest:“OH MA GOD YOU ARE THE WORST!
 
2.~~ Tempest is not always “the hot mess”, 90% of the time it she who makes Flash uncomfortable with a dirty phrase or humor with double meaning. With Twilight it doesnt have the same effect because the princess is a huge pervert and there is nothing that can tell her that she has not already read in a book or fanfic, also usually she follows the game and it’s not fun if you cant embarrassed your babe.
 
The ironic is that Tempest usually gets more nervous with demonstrations of affection “pure and sweet” like you cook her, a kiss, a hug, a “I love you”. Flash cant handle such spicy words and less when they are so unexpected but is expert is everything sugary/cheesythings. And Twilight… Twiligth is a horny horse in any possible way end of the story.
 
 
Can you believe that at the beginning there was so much sexual awkwardness? For Tempest, for Flash, the only one that has no problems in any way is Twilight. Well, she is a special case coughthirstynerdcoughcoughkinkyladycought .
