Artist’s description:

An incomplete sketch that I will likely never finish

So in my headcanon Rainbow gets really overprotective over her friends (and marefriendsCOUGHCOUGH)) before she is expected to perform for the Wonderbolts.

Twilight after she starts dating Rainbow privately is constantly tortured with this, and has multiple blankets draped over her during Rainbow’s high stressed periods.

Also, its a weird pegasus habit, trying to please the “mate” by making them nice warm bundles (akin to birds making nests)
