Plant-loving loner Wallflower Blush made a surprising discovery while strolling through her secret garden in the wooded are near Canterlot High School: a supposedly magical stone that (according to the scroll Wallflower found it wrapped in) might have come from another world. From what Wallflower understands, the stone has two functions: the first being that it can erase the memories of anybody the wielder of the stone desires and the second being that it can magically bring anybody under the wielder’s complete control. Wallflower is intrigued by both of the stone’s potential uses, but it’s the second option that gets the wheels in her head turning. All of her life, Wallflower has been ignored, neglected, and forgotten by nearly everybody in her life. None of her peers talks to her or wants to be her friend, her teachers often overlook her while doing attendance, and even her single workaholic mother barely talks to her in the little time she has off from her job. The green-haired girl has grown tired of this treatment and it is for this reason that she developed a grudge against the extremely popular Sunset Shimmer; a girl who has spent the last 3 ½ years terrorizing the student body of CHS and was accepted after one instance of saving the school from magical danger. Not wanting to be ignored by anybody ever again, Wallflower decides to use the stone’s hypnotic powers to make herself the Queen of Canterlot City, with Canterlot High serving as her palace and the students and faculty (with some exceptions) as her mind-controlled slaves. And upon recalling a conversation she overheard with Sunset and her friends about going to the beach on Saturday (which is tomorrow), the green-skinned teen gets an idea as to where she can get her first recruit…
*The next day, Wallflower heads down to Canterlot Beach with the magic stone to begin the first phase of her scheme. Dressed in her usual beachwear (a brown one-piece swimsuit with black flip-flops), Wallflower waits near a lifeguard tower close to the beach parking lot as she keeps an eye out for Sunset Shimmer, who has yet to arrive and join her friends. Soon, Sunset arrives, and as Wallflower watches the fiery-haired girl park her motorbike and make her way onto the sand, she smirks to herself as she mentally notes that Sunset is about to get what she deserves. After ducking under the lifeguard tower (so as not to draw attention to herself), Wallflower takes out the stone, aims it at the back of the still-walking Sunset’s head, and activates the magic inside it, causing a bolt of green-blue magic to fire out of the stone’s center and strike the back of Sunset’s head. After being hit by the magic, Sunset suddenly stops walking and seems to stand to attention with her arms at her sides. When Wallflower heads over to investigate, she is very pleased to find that the spell has worked as Sunset’s eyes have turned the same color as the stone’s magic, an indication that she is now under Wallflower’s hypnotic control. *
After taking a minute to think up her first command, Wallflower instructs her new servant to ride her motorbike to the CHS parking lot and wait for her to arrive later with her friends. In a monotone voice, the hypnotized Sunset agrees to the command and starts to walk back to the parking lot. However, not a minute later, Wallflower stops her and requests that Sunset leave behind her cellphone, sandals, sarong, and messenger bag. Upon receiving this order, Sunset kicks off her sandals, unties her sarong (which she lets fall at her now bare feet), and dumps her bag (containing her phone & magic journal) onto the sand before continuing her path back to the parking lot. Wallflower then gathers up Sunset’s sandals, phone, and sarong and dumps them into a nearby trashcan, but decides to keep her bag and journal as a ‘memento’ of her first victory. After watching her mind-controlled servant drive off on her motorbike, Wallflower heads off to find Sunset’s friends and subject them to a similar fate….
