While her flight suit was being washed, Spitfire had to clean her up with wet wipes, or at least insisted on helping her with wiping despite Rainbow’s claims that she didn’t need help. A quick reminder that she had also claimed to be able to hold it had her not claiming anything else for a while.
 
When she was done in the bathroom and got out, she found a surprise for her. The other wonderbolts could only get her a cadet uniform as they didn’t have a replacement for the actual wonderbolt suit with her cutie mark. However, they did get her some pullups with foalish designs of clouds that turned dark and rainy when she wet herself.
 
“It’s for your own good, this would make cleanup a lot easier if you have another accident. Besides, you can just pull them down if you need to use the potty.” There was also the fact that the foalish designs would encourage her to prove she can use the bathroom next time.
 
Rainbow gradually started blushing beyond any previously known tone of red as Soarin and Spitfire insisted on helping her with the pullups, claiming they want to make sure she knows to put them on and won’t remove them or throw them away when they weren’t looking. Rainbow tried to put them on by herself but, not helping with her embarrassment, she put them on backwards in her first attempt.
 
“What are you laughing at? What’s wrong this time?”
 
After a short explanation and more blushing, Spitfire got to help her personally this time, powdering her butt with some scented foal powder, adding a little rash cream, pulling her new garment up personally and tickling her belly gently during the progress so she didn’t squirm, so Rainbow was finally ready and prepared for an hypothetical accident. Spitfire tickled her belly a little more and cooed at her.
 
A routine of teasing her and checking her pullup ensued for the next days as the wonderbolts wanted to make sure she didn’t forget her potty break anyway, even if she was prepared for an accident. They kept asking her if she needed to use the bathroom every once in a while, everytime before they left somewhere or returned somewhere, before events; and also checking she kept her pullups on.
 
The cadet uniform was an advantage; since it didn’t cover her butt unlike the personal flying suits, the wonderbolts could check if she was wet at sight, and tease her about her cute pullup being showing, or being a “potty training cadet” instead of a “big pegasus filly”.
