This drawing is my attempt to go all out on a picture to end the year. I was aiming for something that will show my skill as an artist, and how I’ve changed from the start of this year. I experimented with hair styles, and tried my best to make a drawing that felt alive and dynamic; with characters moving and doing stuff to attract the eye. For the most part, I felt I succeeded with the dynamic look of the picture. I feel the characters are alive and moving; rather than standing still and taking a generic pose. I’m glad I managed to convey emotion and action in my Sailor Ponies’ Christmas Card.
