Description

NOMINATIV AKKUSATIV DATIV GENITIV

The angry pony throws the camera of the unlucky tourist at the tall tower.
mit anderen Worten,
Das wtende Pony wirft die Kamera des unglcklichen Tourist an dem hohen Turm.
Pony, Tourist, Turm sind mnnlich, aber Kamera ist weiblich.

—–explanation––

Ive been studying German, and there are four grammatical cases for German nouns. Theres the Nominativ, which is the noun that acts the verb. Theres the Akkusativ, which is the noun that is acted by the verb. Theres the Dativ, which is the noun that is also acted upon, but in a less direct way. And theres the Genitiv, which is the noun that owns some other noun, as the Applejack in this phrase: The apples of Applejack/The Applejacks apples.

So, in this clip macro, Fluttershy (the thrower) is the Nominativ, the camera (being thrown) is the Akkusativ, the tower (indirectly affected by the throwing) is the Dativ, and the tourist (owner of the camera) is the Genitiv.

Im afraid this is rather unamusing… but anyway…
