After the whole mess of inter-dimensional traveling with the human and pony world, Sunset and Twilight became quite close. Sunset felt like, outside of her human friends, she still had Twilight to lean on, and Twilight felt the same about Sunset.      While Sunset loved living in the Human dimension and loved her friends, she knew in her heart that she didn't belong in that world. Going too that world in the first place was just an escape... literally. A way to leave behind the things she did in Equestria and hide. She knew that eventually, she would have to go back. That harsh thought became a reality when human Pinkie started making claims of seeing someone who looked exactly like Sunset when walking home. Pinkie didn’t understand what that meant, until Sunset explained to her new friends about who she is and how she isn’t truly human. She ended the conversation in tears saying, “I have to go home now.”     And she did. She went back home, saying goodbye to all of her friends and comrades. She also gave human Twilight her magic book so that they can still keep in touch. After a lot of hugs, she left through the statue. When she got back to Equestria, after she filled Twilight in about the whole situation and why she had to come back, Twilight ended up letting her move in.     Living together brought them even closer. They learned so much about each other that they didn’t know before, and were able to comfort and confide in each other more than they already did. Sunset started to think of Twilight as more than just a really close friend, and she wanted more out of their relationship. She told her human friends about her feelings for Twi, and a majority of them encouraged her to confess her feelings already. Sunset was really, really reluctant to act out on her feelings, but after a lot of encouragement and thinking, she made her decision. One night while Twilight was not in the castle due to friendship duty calls and such, Sunset made dinner for her and Twi, as well as lit some candles and made everything very love-makey. When Twilight came back, she was at first confused about the changes, but when she saw a stutter-y and flustered Sunset, she began to understand. She still decided to play along and act like she didn’t know what Sunsets intentions where. They ate dinner and chatted, Twilight complimenting Sunsets cooking the whole way through. When both were finished, Sunset stood from her seat and said “Twilight Sparkle, these years that I have been living alone with you have been some of the best years of my life, and I wish for us to be together for more and more years. I… I love you Twilight. More than anything else in the world. Do you love me back..?” Twilight answered her question by grabbing Sunset by the shoulders and intensely kissing her. “More than anything else in the world” Twilight repeated.      Twilight and Sunset dated for about 3 years, and in those three years they were the talk of the town. Not only was a princess in a same-sex relationship rare (but not exactly looked down upon), but also the fact that Sunset was considered an ex-criminal made the ordeal odd in the public’s eye. Sunny and Twi didn’t care too much though, they just wanted to focus on being happy with each other and loving one another. After those 3 years, Twilight sat Sunset down outside of the castle near dawn, and told her, “Sunset Shimmer, these years that I have been dating you have been some of the best years of my life, and I wish for us to be together for more and more years. I love you Sunny. More than anything else in the world. Will you marry me?” She then pulled out a box with a small ring in it. Engraved in the ring was a small golden gemstone next to a small purple gemstone. Sunset started to cry before repeatedly hugging and kissing her new fiancée whilst saying “Yes! Yes!” They had a grand and beautiful wedding and came home more in love and happy then they have been their entire lives.     Less than a year later, Pinkie pie gave birth to her and her husband’s first son, Cherry Top. For the sake of bonding and helping the couple, Sunset and Twi would babysit their son whenever Cheese and Pinkie were working. One day, when Twilight was reading a book to Cherry, Sunset said, out of the blue, “Do you want to have a foal?” 

“What?”
“Do you want us to have a baby?”
“I.. do you?”
“I’ve been thinking about it, and.. yes. I do. I want to have a foal” Twilight thought about it before voicing her main concern of ‘how are two mares gonna have a foal?’ Then Sunset thought of something; magically change one of the ponies into the opposite gender for enough time to conceive, carry, and deliver, then they would be changed back. And that’s what they did. Twilight decided to change herself into a male for about a month or so, so that she could impregnate Sunset and she would carry and deliver their little bundle or joy, and it worked!

During the whole pregnancy, Twilight was constantly fretting over her wife. Not only was she paranoid about the potential of Sunset or their baby dying during foalbirth, she was also afraid that the magic they used to conceive their baby could cause other complications. Sunset was quite calm though, spending her pregnancy fawning over her little unborn child. Their baby actually came almost 3 weeks after they were due. Sunset went into labor in the middle of the night when Twi was away on a mission. Twilight was notified by the hospital shortly after Sunset had gone into active labor. By the time she had gotten there, the foal was being cleaned up and ready to be taken home by their parents. When a dazed and tired Sunset and a panicked and shocked Twilight saw their baby for the first time, a wave of emotions hit them. First it was shock, then relief, then pride, and then, love.     
Their daughter was beautiful. To their surprise, she came out an alicorn. Though, she seemed to have a normal unicorn horn, and normal Pegasus wings oddly enough. Her fluffy coat was a peach color, and she had a small hint of a red, velvety mane on her head. When she opened her eyes, they saw large periwinkle orbs surrounding her pupils. Sunset decided upon naming their daughter Dawn. Dawn Glow.       

Raising Dawn was far from easy, although they did expect a lot worse since Dawn was an alicorn, but it still wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. All of the spurts of magic defiantly kept the mothers on their toes, despite the fact that she didn’t start flying until she was about 2. As Dawn got older, Sunset and Twilight were able to settle down, and things became closer to what they were like before they had Dawn, peaceful and quiet.      Even now, when Dawn in 19 and old enough to move out, she doesn’t want too. She wants to start her own family with her moms alongside her in the place she grew up in.

Honestly props to you if you read that whole thing geez. I was planning on doing something similar too this with all the m6 families and a few others. Hopefully the stories in those aren’t as long. Hopefully. They will probably be just as sappy tho.
