Description

Oh well what have we here……is this a Derpy/Spitfire comic I see……….well no it’s a Rarity type fire comic. :P Parody of my series? Put a little different spin off this compared to what is my usual series and honestly this was an easy comic to do in a sense with the new episode of S7. First comic with best pony in Derpy and mid-ranked pony in Rarity in the new style of mine. Oddly enough this comic could stand alone even with the influence from the episode synopsis I got the idea from so this was fun as hell to do I will say. :) As you can see I tweaked the line art a little more and this is what I been working at since. Granted the comic next week won’t show that as the comic I did next week was done before I did this one but you can see how I started narrowing on this newer style since. The thinner line art really works a lot better. Muffin is in this. :)

Now as I wanna do with most of these comics these days I wanna try more posing and stuff. Check in on my man Baron-Engel for different ideas on some and got some ideas on some and had some of the basic ideas on some for reference and kind of in a sense took some elements and merged many to form into one. Actually Baron helped me on the panel one for the comic….he gave me a sketch it a little different than the way I ultimately went with but I have it still as a superb reference to keep going back to on future stuff. Remember this was about 2 months ago so any new stuff I try…no S**t I am gonna need references on for stuff on how to do it. Why not from one of the top 3 artists I consider in the fandom…..especially since my new style is a blend of mine and some elements of his on the structure. :) The background on this…..ok let me just say I love making indoor backgrounds. Actually I may keep mentioning that but honestly I like making indoor setting backgrounds more than anything these days cause IDK if it’s cause I don’t have as many comics with outdoor settings as I used to and that’s been part of it but my indoor backgrounds usually come out so much better. :faint: The main hard part on this like a comic I did far back for the S6 finale comic was trying to figure out in a sense a kitchen type thing for Derpy or a kitchen that works in general for a setting that works too. So this is what I came up with and also that little flat cooking grill over Rarity was different compared to my usual ones. Lot of new stuff in this comic as I said. ;)

Ok so that’s all I wanna say on this comic. Still love the cooking concept of this series…there’s so many different variations of the same type of concept and I got so many I can do always. I still never understand the people that get mad over this series….honestly shut up and stuff on it. Kind of how people complain hardcore on my new style…stop it cause can do a lot more on this than ever…..and…I never said I gave up my old one too. Also as the Derpy/Spitfire comics, better get used to it cause I did a few more for S7 EP comics…..cough next week too. ;P Yeah I did it again next week. Again it may look a little weirder than this weeks one………………..unless I got back and want to re-clean up all the lineart but I may not. I mean it was months ago when I worked on it so I will think about it. It won’t hurt the comic overall no matter what I do anyway cause the concept is great and simple too. Ok then so…..onward to the next comic….a true Derpy/Spitfire comic.
