I was browsing through my laptop and I happened to come across this gem. :3  
It’s an older piece, but I call it a gem because; one, it was my first drawing of Applejack and Big Macintosh; and two, it was a drawing I did for my big brother. I know most big brother and little sister drawings (as far as ponies are concerned) are drawn of Twilght and Shining, but I wanted something different.  
I feel like this a lot.
 
The story with this one is Applejack has a perfect batch of red apples and intends to make a lot of money with them. She expects a great turn out and hopes to make her family proud. However, such was not the case. Applejack only sold one apple for a single bit. Ashamed to come back empty handed, she offers what she has made. Her brother, Big Macintosh, realizes the hard work she’s done and (in his own way) tells her that her best is enough.
