we are going to stick to what we have atm. We debated on the approval system and we don’t really like it all that much. The system we have works fine now. That way people can still upload without really any staff interference

I personally think this will backfire SPECTACULARLY, as mods are lazy creatures and sooner or later will be overwhelmed.
This might even veer into making more mods and will result in bloated staff with poor quality control.

And if there were no timer, it would have never been published at all. Never underestimate moderators’ incompetence, given infinite time they will still fail to approve posts in time.

A timer is how it works in e621 and it’s awful. Mods regularly never check the queue and things stay hidden until the timer expires, so the timer keeps getting made long and longer and posts take days to finally show up. It’s one of the worst solutions, right after just blocking no-account uploads.

From personal experience over the years on the internet, “Approval queue” is a just fancy way to say “You’ll never see your post again”. They should have implemented a timer, if moderator don’t react in time, image is forcefully published. They didn’t, which makes their intentions clear.

They’ve been suffering from the same CP spam as us, so I’m wondering if there are any plans on how to more effectively deal with the issue on this side of the pony pond other than simply being more vigilant?

Default search

If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization, wings, and spread wings would all be found by a search for wing, but sewing would not be.
