The next game is going to be called Sonic Superstars. It’s a 2.5D platformer.

The ending of the emerald city comic arc was really bad, there’s no wonder IDW has been losing money like crazy if it insist to sell bad stories like that blargh.

I just played The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. It’s a visual novel with endless runner like gameplay. It has good art, some fun dialogue and the gameplay is a reasonable challenge. And it’s free.

It took me about 4 hours to complete, but a decent portion is retrying gameplay sections. If you are better at games (or use the easy modes), it would be shorter than that.

I’ve now seen all eight episodes.  
It’s not my favorite Sonic cartoon, Satam and Sonic Boom still are.  
There’s some cool stuff going on in Prime, but it feels like there may have been some budgetary hindrance behind the scenes.  
We only see the same few characters in every dimension Sonic goes to(with a few exceptions), it would have been nice to have some variety with different dimensions more prominently featuring different characters.

I don’t get the Chaos Council. It’s a bunch of Eggmans, but not Eggmans from other dimensions. They’re also not related? Why wasn’t this different established incarnations of Eggman/Robotnik? Additionally, why are there absolutely zero elements taken from the various cartoons Sonic has had?The continuity of Prime seems to be based loosely on the games more than everything.  
The show is okay, paced fine, but not much rewatch value.

I have it all pirated. Haven’t watched it yet, but I’ve seen clips. Rouge is adorbs.

Sonic Prime is released. Has anyone seen it?

Has anyone tried Sonic Frontiers yet? The release just kind of snuck by me, it seems.

Why couldn’t they come for Iizuka? Actually, I would rather the Yakuza come for Iizuka than the Jap SEC.

Sonic Frontiers has released a prologue. It’s clearly building off Sonic Adventure.
 
Sonic Prime has a second teaser out. It’s really not what I was expecting. I thought it would be a bit darker, but it looks like a Sonic Underground redux more than anything. Whatever happened to the spear wielding tribal Amy from the concept art? Maybe that’s a different timeline he visits later? In any case, hopefully the trailer music isn’t representative.

According to a leak, Big the Cat is back in Sonic Frontiers, and he’s bringing his fishing minigame with him.
 
I wonder why they’re pushing Big all of a sudden. He appears to be a primary character in Sonic Prime, as well.

Sonic #50 had lots of panels that look like porn parodies.  

 
Tails is deactivating Kitsune’s backpack, which apparently killed him because apparently it was part of his body and was linked to his vital systems. Oops.

Sonic Prime doesn’t look anything like what I was expecting. From the concept art, I was picturing something darker, like the 90s show.
 

The Impostor Saga comic arc had a good ending.

The unaired pilot for Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is available on Youtube. It wasn’t completed, but it’s an interesting watch. Part of the pilot was used in full for the closing credits sequence.
