I checked that place out of curiosity and judging by the context following Badheart’s lastest posts, apparently he mocked a user who’s father is suffering of terminal health compications.
In that case, the ban was well earned.

Lol, they called you cunt and massive egocentric. If Ciaran is the one who wrote that, I’d laugh hard and I don’t think I have to explain why. What did you said anyway? Because it seems like they didn’t took too much time to ban you, since no one cited you in the thread.

I woke up to a seven day ban for lacking empathy in the vent thread.

I still haven’t been banned (yet), I just avoid the forums because I realized that talking about politics over there is pointless.

Quit banned or possibly arrested given how unhinged that one was. I highly doubt if there was a ban that it will stick. A lot there can tell people to kill themselves and just get a slap on the wrist.

anyways i realized i draw more, worry less and feel more free of speech and creative than when i was posting on derpi.
idk bout yo but perso, it’s been like two years and getting banned was the best thing. focusing on other projects rather than unfertile debates with literally communists. onw can question if that isn’t the endgoal of keeping people with rational opinions busy in defending their views instead of being active.

I don’t know. He hasn’t responded to my question, and I haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary on Derpi myself, so I assume it’s nonsense.

I just remembered an incident I had on the Derpibooru forums 8 months ago where people criticized me for posting an unpopular opinion… in the unpopular opinion thread. That proved it was an unpopular opinion, but because it lay outside of the Overton window of the Derpibooru forums, I was called ‘brainwashed’ for an opinion I had thought of independently.

I do have a reason for why I think that, but decided it was probably pointless to argue about it there and kept it to myself until the post was forgotten.

I barely use the forums that often, especially because apparently whatever I say is “drama”.

Hell, it’s illegal to defend companies now. And last but not least, I am no longer going to post anything on Tartarus bc after appealing my ban before, the mod told me not to post anything there at all.

Which there goes my expression of ire against the Israel/Palestine conflict featuring Twitter the Anti-Semite who hates burgers, coffee, hot chocolate and pizza.

Probably. This thread has become fairly slow as of late.

I just hope that everyone here who had or continues to have problems with derpi continues to ‘heal’ from the ‘damage’ that place did. (Sounded WAY more dramatic than I meant it, but still)

I’m sure there’s a bit of column A but I’m equally sure it’s way more of column B. Most of us go our entire day here without even thinking about Ciaran until we notice this thread again, I know I sure do.

I’ve cut DB out of my life so thoroughly, I sometimes forget it even existed. Which is how I like it.

It’s the entire mod team on DB that needs to be fired, if only because even the least interesting and those with the least amount of sins against the fandom still just tow the party line. But some (TSP, Ciaran, etc.) are more LOLcow then others, which is why their names keep coming up.
