My four most recently upload images aren’t listed for general view? I look at my front page and my Images aren’t viewable, any they haven’t technically been pushed off the front page yet.
 
Are they actually hiding images from view?

I started to afraid to be interested in any picture here, like or very like <3, all because here is a mod which might start telling me what people like me are and badmouth me. Once I was very hurt here just because I noticed some safe picture from G5 (Izzy Moonbow) felt suggestive to me. Since then, I did hide all G5 pictures and deleted because it reminds me the accident.
 
Now it is progressing, I’m afraid to feel what I want because of what happened. Like I did something wrong by just writing in the comments that I found the picture suggestive.
 
What is wrong with people? Maybe they might plan to send authorities because people might like/see some drawings of ponies in improper in their opinion, way? It looks like hypocrisy. One people can like anything and others are blamed.

In the Internet, there are many websites about how to write characters who are from different peoples, from Africans and African Americans, to Indians, Romani, Jewish people, Native Americans, Polynesians, Middle Easterners, and so on. Many of them usually have tips on how to research about their culture and how not to use offensive tropes and stereotypes.
 
For fun, I’d like to ask about suggestions for the White or European characters in my stories. I may be an Asian dude, but I think White people are very pretty, especially blonde ones.
 
Due to a lot of time spent on the Internet (especially Yahoo Answers and paranoid blogs like Breitbart’s now-lost comment section), I once thought that people online expected all White characters to be superhumans, gods, or Mary Sues, whereas any weak or villainous White characters would make their author an “anti-White”.
 
It’s also because as a Malaysian, I rarely ever meet actual European people in real life, as they tend to work in the bigger cities.
 
So, what would be your suggestions on how to portray and write about my White characters?
 
If you’re interested, my White characters tend to be diverse, ranging from:
 
a drummer from a Norse planet  
an awkward farmboy  
several angry mutants who see themselves as children of the Gods  
a brutish Norse girl who loves skateboarding and hates dresses  
some pretty tomboy and her gamer boyfriend  
a time-traveller  
a miserable lad who deals with angry demigods  
a drunk film star , a former racer, who hates his job  
a clumsy and rude fisherwoman with super strength
 
The farmboy and the fisherwoman may be from some human-alien hybrids, but they’re still considered White because they look like Europeans.

So, I uploaded an update of one of my images, and it got merged into the old version, instead of the other way around, what’s the procedure for that? Do I just upload it again and specify better this time?

Fingers crossed that it stays that way. And that it gave whatever it caught to Twitter before it croaked.

As brought up in >>2932211, this site automatically switches ‘boards.4chan’ to ‘desuarchive’ to get better links. As part of this conversion it should also fix the anchors as well. 4chan uses ‘#p[post-id]’, or ‘#q[post-id]’ for quotes while Desu uses ‘#[post-id]’. Just get rid of the p or q.

I haven’t bothered to check the Derpibooru drama after this site’s creation.

Hi I’m Ponk and I like to draw! If you have any questions feel free to ask me them :)
 
The program I use to draw all my art is Ibis Paint. It’s an app on my phone, so I mainly use my finger to draw! Most of my art starts out as a traditional sketch (Paper and pencil) and then I import a picture of my sketch into my drawing app to digitalize it.
 
I used to be a traditional artist only because I don’t have access to a computer that can run any sort of art program, but when I found that drawing app and steadily learned how to use it I switched over to full time digital artist! I’ve actually been thinking of selling my sketchbooks as they fill up with all my sketches, but I dunno how to even begin to do that so it’s on the back burner for now.
 
If you’re an artist too; What program do you use? How did you start drawing? When did you start drawing ponies? What’s your favorite thing to draw?
 
Edit: I just remembered that the first actual drawing program I used was a vector art program called “Inkscape”, but that was back when I was a teenager living at my parents’ house =P

Can’t figure out who the artist is. I don’t recognize the signature. Reverse search spits nada. I asked the fellow who posted it and he doesn’t know either.

I’ve been getting WAY too many downvotes on some of my stuff and even other people’s stuff that honestly doesn’t really deserve it and you can see why it pisses me off and probably a lot of other artists, editors and photographers. And I don’t even want to look at the current voting scores on certain images. The only thing that the “hide voting scores” option in our settings hides is just the upvote and downvote scores. But I want to be able to hide the current score of an image and it’s a problem I’ve had since I used to be on Derpibooru and I’d REALLY like to at least have the option to do that here.
 
 
Especially since it’s hard to tell if it’s from people who are just cheating the voting system by creating multiple accounts basically just to be trolls.
 
I’d like to know if this will be a possible feature to have eventually because these downvotes get extremely annoying.
