Hey, I want to apply for a DNP so I don’t have to go through the annoying takedown process in the future. I’d also like an artist tag attached to my profile here under “ShepardInTheSky”.

Edit: No need, I made this post because I was having trouble finding the page to apply for DNP but I found it.
 
I much prefer Ponybooru’s stance on uploading compared to Derpibooru, but the process to takedown is intrusive enough to turn me away from this site. It should not be this much of a hassle to takedown edits I don’t approve of.

Why?
 
If an artist removes all legitimate ways to acquire their art, it’s probably because they don’t want their art to be public anymore. Making an exemption to allow people to post art the artist had decided to remove everywhere else doesn’t exactly sound like “respecting artists and their artwork” to me. I made an account here specifically to be put on the DNP, but with this rule in place doing so would be completely pointless.

As you know, pbooru was a booru that allowed loli in it’s content, so i grabbed all the images and are now saved in my hd with their artist names and some tags (Not all of them are loli, but anthro too but the tag was there). Due to lack of time I cannot upload them so I’ll need help in that matter. My questions are: Where should I upload them? and Is there someone interested in taggin them? in total i have 3600 files and more than 4 gigas.

I am requesting that not be allowed when caught/reported. There’s absolutely no need to do such things. Especially if we are to be in the right.

I’ve been seeing a lot of comment about weather or not ponybooru should have a discord server as well and thought it would be useful to have a place for all of those comments for site administrators.

It sucks! But now we have here! Wanna talk about… anything?

I am currently writing a user script that slightly alters images, just so I can repost images that have already been uploaded. This will give you a lot of work. But that should be okay, because it’s an easy way to earn your salary, right jannies?  
I hope you enjoy getting paid your no doubt high salary to merge my images.

Ok first of all, I can’t log in to my first account. Not sure if I misspelled my e-mail address or password during registration. I sent “forgot password” request but I didn’t get reset instructions to my mail at all. After hours of failed logging, I decided to create a new account. With this one I have no problems with logging in. Everything works fine. But curiously, I sent the “forgot password” request to my e-mail linked to this account and I didn’t get reset instructions again. What gives? Why Ponybooru doesn’t send password’s reset instructions? How will I get my first account back?

Apparently this is a thing…I for one think this won’t last more than a week (the site) but might as well enjoy it while it lasts lmao.

I personally dislike anthro ponies, and extreme things like watersports/scat–I’ve hidden them by my filters, but they still show up as spoilers despite being in the ‘hidden’ tags part of my personal filter. I’m guessing this will be fixed at some point in the future, or is this intentional? I thought that the ‘hidden’ tag meant that it didn’t show up at all, not even as a spoilered image.

Zerowing posted it in the “We’re working on it.” thread, but I felt its importance required it’s own thread.
 
But yeah the tags have all disappeared from posts except for the most recent upload.

I don’t want to push you Shydale but there’s TONS of absolutely gorgeous and irreplaceable art that should be stared at and admired for all time.

I wish to financially support this site. Does it have a Patreon, Ko-Fi, or other subscription style financial support system? If not, how does this site plan to support server costs? If yes, where may i find the subscribe button?

There wasn’t a thread for feature suggestions and discussion, so I created it.
 
State your suggestions clearly. What goal will it accomplish? What’s a short summary of a feature? And describe how feature should work step-by-step, including pictures if necessary.
 
In the future this post will be edited by moderators/admins to include frequently requested features, and how likely that they will be implemented (not likely/planned/currently implementing).

Post all of your concerns and catastrophes here, I’ll start.
 
I have relatives visiting for the week, and they’re quite annoying. Always talking, always asking the smallest questions (and questions no one knows the answer to), and always bringing up nonsense about current events when the situation never fits it.

So Deviant Art has an issue with uploading, even if you’re copying from Derpibooru in some cases.
 
What’s the issue? The code is only able to pull certain sized images, even after lots of tweaks.
 
Solution? Click a source if it exists and if there is a download button, click that, and upload that image with the same tags, request a merge if you’ve already uploaded.
 
Examples below, first one lower quality (higher compression), second one downloaded manually and uploaded. Fairly big difference.

We gonna have a Ponybooru mascot? Trixie’s kinda the unofficial one of Derpi (not including the upvote/downvote/etc ones) and there’s Rainbow for Rainbooru, but would be cool to have a special mare for PB.

The site is only reachable via http currently, otherwise it borks out to some fur thing.  
This’ll be probably only answered to after it’s fixed, in which case what happened?
