Before Cadance became the pizza pony, a meme spread throughout the fandom that Luna was obsessed with grilled cheese. After Luna reappeared in season 2, her new look and personality largely put the woobie S1 Luna stuff to bed. Since she was still isolated and unsocialized in Luna Eclipse, a meme was born that she was a gremliny NEET shut-in. Combined with her speaking habits, that character interpretation led to glorious grilled cheese becoming a meme. It was the proximate predecessor to gamer Luna, which quickly overshadowed it.

Glorious grilled cheese was popular on Ponibooru, but it didn’t survive past the fall of the site.

So what if the arts are only on twitter?

I sometimes think about what animals, especially pets, think of technology. Does a dog sticking its head out a car window have any comprehension of what a car is? Is it a giant animal to them, do they have no idea what is happening, or do they know what a vehicle is on some level? Birds have figured out how to manipulate door sensors, so it is possible for animals to understand the concepts involved in technology.

See topic. It’s becoming an infestation lately, nearly the entire trending page is just AI generated crap all the time. There should be an exception added to the trending parameters so AI art is not shown there.

Not sure if any of you care or really know about it but the site that archived all of the /mlp/ CYOAs is dead and it looks like it’s forever. The owner of the site AMM recently tried to overhaul the site and fix a bunch of issues that had cropped up over the years but after trying to correct some mistakes it looks like it busted the site beyond repair.  
The CYOA community is probably what kept me making pony content this long and I’ve been running quests that have been archived on Anonpone since 2015.  
At this point there’s still a capture on the internet archive for 2020 but with the way things are going I don’t think it will last. Currently there are no really good solutions for scraping the content that caters to CYOAs/Quests.
 
Also not sure where to host old CYOA content after scraping it. There are a lot of pictures and text that go together and I’m not sure what would be a good solution for backing it up for people to read through in the future due to it all being originally formatted for 4chan. The uploads of Colt Quest to Derpi are one example of a back-up being done in the past but it is a clunky and flawed way to do it and above all, time consuming.
 
I will mirror this post on Derpi since I’m trying to get eyes on the situation. I’ve personally been involved in pony CYOAs since 2015 and it breaks my heart to see all of these stories and artwork beget lost to time.

There seems to be some confusion as to who or what the snowman is. I always thought that a snowman was a man that you physically make out of snow, like building a sandcastle out of snow. But listening to this song from many years ago some Britisher guy with a righteous beard says “When the snowman brings the snow.” So, which is it? Is this something different in different countries?
