I had a really weird dream. I was in school, and Ralph Bakshi was a substitute teacher.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders hijack a cargo plane for to carry out a coup d’état. Sweetie Belle is at the controls. The plane is flying over an endless forest. There is a clearing in the forest where about ten little ponies, including a second copy of Sweetie Belle, are playing. The plane lands in the clearing and runs over the second copy of Sweetie Belle; this is bloody and gruesome. The first Sweetie Belle does not care about this and checks the cargo: crates full of flags. They were supposed to be tricolours, but they have become spoiled.

I had a dream where I was swarmed by puppies. Let me tell you that was a whole lot better than the usual dreams where I’m swarmed by zombies.

First lucid dream since September. This is #9 for the year. That’s low, I usually have 11-12 per year. I figure since I had to deal with covid in October and then post-covid exhaustion for another month and then the 20 days of sheer hell that was my last job that should explain my dreaming dry spell.

PONY DREAM
 
My own place in it was unclear. I may have been unnamed pony, I may have been Twilight Sparkle, I may have been watching in a live audience, or I may have been watching on TV. Anyway, unnamed pony is extremely tired and stumbles toward a forklift type thing. Unnamed pony falls asleep against the forklift type thing which has now become a crane type thing. It is holding a load but the ropes break. Twilight Sparkle catches the load in her magic. Also Pipp from G5 was there, but in the G4 vector style even though I never noticed anything else to look like that.

I had a super erotic dream yesterday involving a gun and that’s probably all I’m allowed to say here.

I’m much younger, doing tech support for my family. The printer isn’t working. The internet isn’t working either. So I plug the router into the printer and find out that the broken printer is interfering with the internet. Someone leaves some cookies on the desk next to the computer. Instead of eating them, I grab a USB drive and try to eat it. Someone reminds me that USB drives are not for eating, so I spit it out.

Scene 1: I’m the first guy, going to a cinema with his mother. When we arrive, instead of finding the room, there are three robots. One is basically Optimus Prime, but bigger. One is a generic android. The third is invisible. They kill us.  
Scene 2: I’m the second guy, walking outside in some rural area. Some road sign turns into a robot and kills me.  
Scene 3: I’m the third guy, a detective. I am exploring some creepy school in the middle of the night, looking for evidence of the killer robots.

Late at night, I go to the grocery store. I stand next to the bread for several hours, thinking about photoshopping. Everyone is creeped out, and after much time, I am asked to leave. When I get outside it is now mid-day. Several World War I style airplanes pass overhead. I also find a model one on the ground. I continue on the long walk home, while thinking about heroes. But the road leads to a strange tunnel. I try to go in, but it keeps getting narrower, and I am eventually forced to leave the way I came from.

I’m on board a morgue-ship. Everything is totally dark; I can not see. The darkness is coming from the corpse stored in (???) number “101★”.

I’ve had a cold all weekend, yesterday I slept all day.  
I remember a single dream, Alec Baldwin fell in a mud puddle, and a bunch of people tried to get him out.

I step outside from a building. Standing there is this crazy guy pointing a gun directly at me. I can’t move. My vision blurs, and he begins to laugh maniacally as he waves the gun around with increasing intensity. Then I pass out wake up.

It’s amazing what the brain can force you to feel when it thinks you should.

I had a very interesting dream that raises some interesting questions. I was in a car simulator in the dream, so I knew I wasn’t moving, just watching pictures of a fake road, also I was asleep in bed so my body wasn’t physically moving either, and still I got motion sickness from this simulated dream car going at walking speed. That shouldn’t be possible.

I had a dream where I had to kill a rat. I thought I did, then I put the body in a plastic bag and tossed it outside and the rat came back to life so I had to chase it around and kill it again, this time making damn sure it was dead. Then I woke up.

Just had an anachronistic dream. I am leaving my high school for the last time (more than 10 years ago). The principal asks me to exterminate a herd of mammoths (5 million to 4000 years ago) that has wandered into the city. I have managed to sneak a pistol past the school, but it is obviously not enough. The exit of the school is in a forest where there are many Propalaeotherium (56 million to 48 million years ago). Propalaeotherium was a small equid (horse family), ranging from 30–60 cm at the shoulder (2.9 to 5.9 hands), and weighing just 10 kg (22 lb).
 
As I get further from the school, the sun sets. I realise there is no reason for me to take the risk of going after the mammoths, so I take a bus home. Once I reach my room, someone bursts through the door and gives me a colourful toy mouse, like for a cat.

I dreamed I was the Kung-Fu panda chasing down a box of grilled chicken patties that someone stole and took to a tiny gas station in the middle of nowhere. I have no idea what to make of this other than that even my subconscious is making fat jokes now.

Hot and cold dreams these days.
 

Three dreams.
 

I’m in school and has just ended penultimate class of the day. To get to the last class I first have to pass through some kind of futuristic underground tunnel system. And then I have to cross an outdoor field. There is the implication that it is common to have to challenge Sonic characters to cross those two locations, but I don’t actually see any.
 
So I make it to the final class. There are two girls next to me. They are writing some sort of essay about the American Civil War. I have a book, a russian-language novel that takes place during the American Civil War. One of those girls leaves the room. Then some big government guys show up and start checking everyone’s bags.
 
After the class ends, I head out the back entrance of the school. It seems to be in area with very high population density and I have difficulty finding a street that actually leads away. Eventually I settle down to watch the news and find out what all that was about. I turn on the TV and see an interview with some old fat german guy in drag. They keep adding silly filters to the video; one makes him look like the SS version of the MGM lion.

A LUCID dream. I don’t remember anything before beginning in a gloomy living room. I climb the stairs which spiral in one of those squares like in a large building. I go up three or four floors then I jump off the side and float back down to the living room which is only one floor down now and more bright. I gently land on all four. I see a glass door, and run straight into it. It didn’t work, so I run into it a second time and the door is forced out of the way. I’m now in a vast winter landscape. I can see very far in all directions. The ground is covered in snow, but the sky is sunny. I don’t feel cold at all.

Had a ton of strange short dreams this week.
 

 
I had this awesome changeling dream.
 
It was about these two changeling brothers who are close servants to their queen in a huge futuristic city. The older brother is fiercely loyal to the queen, and totally unemotional. He also very much overestimates his own rationality. He hurt the younger brother at one point; this happened outside the city. He explained why, and thinks there is therefore no reason for bad blood. But then the younger brother tries to kill him in their queen’s throne room. The younger brother is killed by the other guards, and the queen says the older brother was ignorant or something.
 
The queen then steps out onto a pier at night. The lights of the city buildings are many. I guess I’m the queen’s mother in this one. I’m being flown in on some kind of flying vehicle. I totally cannot move though, like Captain Pike in that Star Trek episode. I just stare ahead as the pier gets closer.

I had a dream earlier with cartoon characters in it. I don’t know if I was watching them, or if I was with them. The only two I remember clearly were Stimpy and Johnny Quest.

I had a dream that was basically just Predator with a vampire. It was set in a pretty nice looking place, with a bunch of different ruins and caves in a small tropical jungle area. I knew exactly where the vampire’s lair was from the start, it was a big dome fortress deep in the lake at the center of the area. I woke up before I could figure out how to get down to it.
