Cuddlehooves shrugged off his long coat as he came out of the rain and into the foal supply store, the bell dinging behind him, he hung the waterproof garment onto the coat stand that was by the doorway and made his way up to the front desk.  
“Welcome to Boomer’s foal supply store for foals of all ages, shapes and sizes! What can I get for ya…” The rich baritone of the unicorn’s voice trialled off as he caught the sight of the thick crinkly diaper attached to the other stallion’s waist.  
“D-Don’t judge! I had an accident at work and it made me need them…” Cuddlehooves quickly defended his ears folding back.  
“I ain’t judging sir! I own this store after all! It’s just rare that I find a pony who’s so open about wearing, now what can I get for ya?” Boomer quickly corrected his behaviour and came out from behind the counter.
 
“I-I’m not sure… my ma usually buys them for me…” the mostly white stallion blushed, his red eyes avoiding the lilac ones, Boomer’s soft features managed to soften more at Cuddlehooves’ confession, he brushed up against him, guiding him gently.  
“C’mon, let me show ya to the adult section…”
 
The diapers were stacked almost to the ceiling in the large room off to the side of the main showroom and suddenly, Cuddlehooves was glad that the store owner was a unicorn; there were all sorts of diapers, plain white ones, Tena’s, as well as other medical “incontinence slips” whereas there were others that proudly boasted that they were “adult diapers”, his eyes were drawn to a specific brand, shrinkwrapped in pastel blue plastic and white writing “Silly Colt: Blue”  
“See somethin ya like?” Boomer asked gently, breaking Cuddlehooves out of his trance; the younger stallion blushed and stammered out a  
“N-not really, I-I’ll just take some Betterdry’s please… they’re completely white right?”  
Boomer nodded and levitated down a pack, watching out of the corner of his eye as Cuddlehooves glowered at the infantile styled ones, but not with hatred but jealousy.
 
“Y’know, sir…” Boomer started carefully as he carried the medical disposables in his magical grip “There’s nothing wrong with liking the foalish designs… they’re cheaper too if you’re worried about what ya ma would say…”  
“R-really Boomer? Even before the accident, I would stare at the foalswear… I thought I was sick for it…”  
“Nah! I know tons of ponies who like it!”  
Cuddlehooves dropped to his padded rump, some tears dripping down his cheeks as he gazed at all the options, foalish and medical, he had enough money for one or two packs on him, he could pick one pack of anything, his mother didn’t have control over it this time.
 
Noticing the tears, Boomer cooed and dropped the pack as he trotted up to him and gestured to the shelves.  
“You can pick any of these, it’s your choice if you wanna stay with the Betterdry’s then that’s cool, if you want to pick something else, that’s cool too…”
