Season 7, Episode 13: The Perfect Pear

Hiatus over, back into some episodes and art. Two of em today, but sorry Discord, maybe I’m a bit biased, but this episode in general just top of the line.

Everything connected so well from beginning to end of the episode, the little things like Applebloom’s interactions, to all the different ponies involved in the story, to the tears… oh so many tears. Stop it all of you, I’m not crying, every single one of you are crying.

Tried to combine two little moments into one (hint, the poses), trying to make something new that wasn’t directly in the episode. But gosh darn those trees, the seeds, that stuff was strong stuff.

Big Mac’s last question to Oak, the marriage, the song. Applejack.

Did slightly speed through it, maybe because figuring out the balance of environment and characters, and all that, a bit unconventional depth, but interesting to work with.
