I never understood the hate towards Opaline’s design, I love it. The arguments people male just don’t make sense to me since other MLP characters look similar and people don’t hate their designs

The problem isn’t that she’s “bright”. It’s that Opaline looks oversaturated, and a bit over lit compared to the rest of that frame, and I’m betting the people making that complaint just don’t know the word for what they want to say. Cadance has a lighter palette, but those colors are much softer.
