Here are a few new dragon girls that will be appearing in an upcoming chapter of My Little Sister is a Dragon: Ester Dracos! I introduce to you from left to right: Hosta, Daisy, and Amaryllis! They are sisters that run a flower shop in Ester Dracos.
Like I do with all my eastern dragon OCs, I name them after flowers or plants and I usually try to give them fitting colors. Hosta was originally going to be called Amaryllis and have the yellow-green and red color scheme, but I thought the name and colors were more fitting for the upbeat silly character on the right. Hosta plants are green with some yellow or white stripes in their leaves which you can see in her hair. Amaryllis plants grow tall and are a light green with giant red flowers on top, so I made Amaryllis look a lot like one. Daisy’s colors had to have white and yellow in there somewhere to relate to the plant, though I did make her mostly blue which is ok since I think there are some blue daisies.
Now you’ll also notice something about these ladies: they are a mix of Northern, Southern and Eastern Drake which explains their different body types and other mixed appearances. Hosta is mostly Northern with her body type and ear fins but still has the antlers, hair, fur, and face of an eastern and she doesn’t need wings because she can levitate. Daisy also has no wings for the same reason, but she stands out in being she has the plump body of a Northern Drake and she has mammalian Eastern ears. Amaryllis is the most interesting in being she is almost entirely Southern (with Northern head spikes), but she has the serpentine body and ears of an Eastern. Their mother was an Eastern while their father was a Northern/Southern mix.
I’m working on their personalities and will reveal more later in bio cards, but here’s what I have so far:
Hosta - Oldest, sultry accent, flirtatious, good leader, runs the business
Daisy - Youngest, soft-spoken voice, cheerful and cute, great singer
Amaryllis - Middle child, loud and energetic, silly and playful, real talker
Although this isn’t my first time doing a mixed breed dragon (Billow is part Northern and Souther), I am really pleased with how these cuties turned out! Tell me what you guys think of them in the comments!
