I don’t usually write headcannons for those characters, but i got really inspired while making this one, so here it is. Feel free to disregard all of it, its just for fun 😁
————————————————————
Aryan was a simple unicorn, a weaver living in Ponyville. She lived with her mother, the freshly retired Princess Luna on the outskirts of town. They lived a peacefull life, without a worry in the world, since Princess Twilight had everything under control.
One day through, all clocks in equestria stopped right before hitting midnight. The ponies waited for the sun to come up, but it didn’t so much as peak from the horizon well into the day. Concerned, Luna and her daughter travelled to Canterlot to investigate. Maybe Twilight just needed help moving the celestial bodies?
At arrival it became clear that the situation was much more complicated. The castle was swarmed with scientists, spellcasters and astronomers, all working frantically to discover why Time has stopped. Princess Twilight explained to them that even the strongest magic she could muster wouldn’t budge any of the stars, planets or globes. Luna, with hope still in her heart, tried her magic to put the moon past the horizon and end the night, that had been going on for a few days now. She was however unsuccesful, so she joined Twilight and her researchers in trying to find the root of the problem.
Somewhere in the corner Arya was sitting with a book about forbidden, dark magic. She knew there was no time for research, because without time, the fabric of space itself would become unstable and tear apart, leaving nothing but destruction in it’s wake. She found a few unfinished spells, and decided to merge them together.
Canterlot was flooded with bright white light, with Aryan at the center of it. Her spell was succesful, but it had a cost. The threads of the universe had come undone, and she went right to work with her loom, now made of stardust and dark matter, she braided and weaved until she had remade the universe from it’s very lining. New stars to replace the old ones, new planets and globes, same as the old ones, but now no longer stuck in one place. As she weaved, she felt herself transforming- her prevoiusly underdeveloped horn grew longer, and split into two at the base. Her hooves lighter, as if winged. Her irises and scleras were burning, filled now with the same dark matter used to repair the universe.
Back at Canterlot, the bright light was followed by an explosion of colour, light and sound. What Aryan was doing took her light years, but on earth only a few seconds have passed. When the air cleared up enough to see, Aryan was gone. Nobody could find her. Until they looked up into the sky that is…
Morning was quickly approaching, finally blessing the land with light as the sound of clocks starting back up was heard all around. The ponies looked up into the sky in awe, delighted by a new day. Despite the sun peeking from the horizon, most of the stars were still visible. Among well known, documented constellations, a new one crowned the sky today. Right above the sky, the brand new constellation of The Veiled Horse.
Many years later, ponies still tell the legend of the simple unicorn weaver, who weaved the sky anew, and point to the constellation of the Veiled Horse as her forever resting place. They say she is still up there, patching holes in the night sky, and looking over time itself. Some even say that you can encounter the veiled figure in your dreams, and if you’re lucky enough to do so, she might tell you stories of ponies long gone. They call her… the Mother of The Universe.
