Luna met Thorax during a great meal at Canterlot. All the leaders were present, except Princess Celestia, who had decided to relive her youth fully, now that Twilight was on the throne. When Thorax and his brother arrived, the other leaders had eyes only for the king of the changelings, who was brighter than ever. Twilight came to him, and after a very distinguished greeting, they proceeded together to the reception room. Pharynx followed, with his head down, always in the shadow of his brother, who was nevertheless the eldest of the siblings.
 
Luna understood the situation very well and approached the prince. The latter recognized her right away, for her mistakes of Nightmare Moon, which made her very uncomfortable. Pharynx apologized and admitted that he too was quite embarrassed by his changeling past. They smiled and knew that they understood each other. During the whole reception, they did not leave each other and spoke unceasingly of their families, and of their past, laughing at their mistakes. The reception was over and Pharinx had to leave, but promised he would return. The next day, Luna received a bouquet of black flowers and an invitation to a date, which she obviously accepted.
 
After several dates, Luna and Pharinx married ! She went to live in the kingdom of the changelings and gave birth to a little boy: Beetles. Its name was inspired by insects living at night, to illustrate their love, the beetles.
