Not to be rude or anything, but I simply do not care about the technical side of the booru. Ponerpics and ponybooru are community sites, and the ponerpics community population isn’t there. I don’t want to have to wait hours between forum posts. It’s boring.

Also, another benefit of Ponerpics over Ponybooru is that they IMPORTED THE TAG ALIASES TOO, so excepting few bad ones on Derpi, their tagging system is actually functional and Ponybooru’s isn’t.
 
Remember kids, while the framework is great, for it to function you still need proper support in the way of aliasing, implications and tag autists to apply correct stuff, or you just get FA-level tagging but with everyone being able to edit it.

I mostly just use twibooru to browse illegal (from derpibooru) images. I use Ponybooru and ponerpics for the comments.

Adding IDmatch requires remaking the entire database - the equivalent of recreating the booru from scratch (which is exactly what ponerpics did to get theirs).

I agree, I don’t see something more attractive on that site than this being both community based altboorus.  
They may argue about DNP, but in that case in Twibooru I can find more of that content than this and Ponerpics afaik.

Sorry, but this site and ponerpics are basically the same, and there’s way more interactivity here. So no.
 
Pretty much this. When the schism began, ponerpics lagged behind in getting its overall framework off the ground. Now it’s a ghost town fueled mostly by auto-upload scripts. If anything, its staff should cut their losses and merge with a more active alt, such as Ponybooru, and reinforce the remaining community as a whole rather than letting users like wren drag the site’s presence through the mud. But, that’s just one filly’s opinion.
