Description
It is traditionally the stallion pegasus who takes the initiative and puts on a show to impress any potential mates during the spring where instincts are at the highest. But a mare with a certain suitor in mind, who has yet to make a move, might decide to break tradition and take initiative to show the stallion that she could very well be interested if he tried his luck. Like the stallion she can put on a show with certain movements, or other such subtle hints like displaying her plumage and wing span to prove herself to be a fit and healthy mate.

Contest prize for Allonsbro for winning the sub-category of the Mating Dance contest in the BirbIsTheWord group a bit ago. They requested the prize to be in form of an art request rather than paid membership and asked for these two background characters, Caramel and Sassaflash, used to show a pegasus mare putting on a mating display for a non-pegasus.
Tried giving Sassaflash the boob dance moves in the first one, with the funny waddle, but that’s hard to truly do justice in just one picture. But wanted to draw the second picture too without making a full on comic.
Also nice to prove I still CAN make springtime pegasi art that isn’t just a birdbath gag. Go me!
Them damn birbs interrupting your lunch, am I right?
Enjoy!
