This is the part that’s fun for the DM - when the players finally reach the point of success, and the DM can just describe what happens to their heart’s content, with a rapt audience that’s dying to hear what they have to say. It’s a moment fought for, earned, by both parties. A climactic event that’s part of what makes this shared storytelling activity so much fun.
