I wanted to create an RP centered around ponies accidentally ingesting the wrong potion and having to live with the consequences. And then someone suggested to me that we make it more like Saw, and have them forced to take a potion before living with the consequences.

Mm. I’d have to drag people on here to horseword for there to be enough folks interested or somehow get a sitewide announcement that ‘hey, this hellhole exists, come collaboratively write with us’.

I know how you feel. I work 4 10 hour shifts a week. Life is busy. All I wanna say is that this doesn’t need to have a ton of people involved in it for it to work.

I find it funny that despite being 13% of the active userbase, those that did not arrive here committed 50% of the active drama.

Only reason i brought it up is because Cere cropped up as Anon, or someone pretending to be him rather well did, and complained about the userbase and lack of threads.

They also complained about that on Derpi, and never really did anything about it there, either. Notice a pattern?

Fur and Pony Booru really needs to advertise to get fresh faces on board. All this drama might be resolved with people, ideas, and etc. Drama does wonders to destroying a site, especially a forum site.

Neither are ‘live’ sites and Furbooru already got an official endorsement during the last maintenance period. Ponybooru has spread by word of mouth to most interested parties and will continue to spread due to the Altbooru thread on le ebul four chinz

Basically, ponies are forced to drink potions without being told the consequences of drinking them, and then living on with the consequences of the potions.

It’s not nearly as bad as the other things Derpibooru did to make me loathe it, but it’s a bad sign. A warning. A warning to leave before it gets even worse than Derpibooru’s lowest point. And so I have. I am staying here.
