If all three are a possibility, that sounds like a source of social stratification. I just wonder which would be most and which would be least favored.

The answer to that would probably depend on whether the females refer to themselves as mares or does. Perhaps whether a male refers to himself as a drake, buck, or stallion depends on his assigned equipment.

With all the hair they grow everywhere else, you’d think male kirin would be easy to spot.
