No posting "abusive content?"

Rule 11:
 
“Do not troll, attack, insult, name-call, or otherwise try to intentionally antagonize another person or group of people. This includes making racial, sexual, homophobic, or otherwise demeaning slurs, or posting similarly abusive content.”
 
I’m curious what images count as racist or demeaning. Is this a DB artifact or is this a permanent thing. If so, how will it be interpreted?

Oh boy this is giving me some Derpibooru PTSD.

The portion of rule 11 you cited is specifically aimed at discouraging constant, repeated harassment targeted at individuals or groups of people.
 
Discussions should aim to keep things civil, however; this of course is the internet and occasional (or not so occasional) arguments will happen. We understand that, but everyone should be able to use this site freely without fear of being constantly targeted and harassed.
 
If a user is going out of their way to attack someone repeatedly, whether by leaving comments, sending messages, or creating art, we’ll try to put a stop to it.
 
All that being said, we are not trying to censor speech or art. Our goal is of course to have a free and open booru for all to use and enjoy. A single comment or image poking fun at someone isnt going to be purged from the system, but again, constant flagrant behavior is what the rule was established to avoid.
 
I hope that cleared up your concerns. The rules are a bit long and could certain use some clarification. A clean up of the rules is on our radar, but it isnt very high on the list at the moment. Let me know if I didn’t quiet answer your question, or if you have other questions.
