Other: I couldn’t see a rule specifically for this but the whole reason for this image is just to start conflict or to get a rise out of other users on here. It’s a meaningless post meant solely as a troll attempt and I feel like it shouldn’t really be on here.

….which this is true of the majority of the ‘spike abuse’ type of images with only a few being unique works that aren’t simply text added to screenshots. Not really certain where the lines are drawn between an acceptable art upload and simply trolling or baiting people into conflict.

MP4 was the source file created by the artist and is the highest quality version of the file.

I made a deliberately inferior webm file to be spread to e621 and derpi and wherever MP4 wasn’t supported.

A bot brought the WEBM version over from derpi, but the webm version was used to REPLACE the MP4 version by Officer Hotpants for as of yet unknown reasons.

This makes no sense as to why an inferior file should replace a superior file.
Action Taken:
Images unmerged; this was a mistake on Hotpants’ part, and has been rectified. Site policy is to keep both MP4 and WEBM formats.
