What Is Your Sense Of Humor?
Dex Stewart
I’m partial to deadpan humor.
I also like dark humor.
Bizzarre implications and callbacks as well.

This. Probably funniest joke I ever made in person: I’m walking down street where I live with someone, and I see a dead rat. I say “That’s nice.”, but this someone didn’t recognise my subtle sarcastic tone and they looked at it actually expecting to see something nice.
But I can find a lot of different things funny, given the right context.

I have a very dark/sarcastic sense of humor. No jokes are too dark for me.
Like this one:
What do you do if you see a decapitated rape victim in the middle of the woods?
Check you compass dude, you’re walking around in circles.

I like obscure references. When somebody gets it you know they’re cool.

You have to know a specific line from the first TMNT movie, and who the two characters are. Also some knowledge beforehand of what crumpets are and what cricket is and the American biases against British things we think sound funny.
Casey Jones on the left is dressed in an outfit that went unused in the recent MMPR/TMNT comic, and on the right is Venus from Ninja Turtles Next Mutation,a show produced by the same people as Power Rangers.
Now laugh,dammit.
