True Discord is a privacy invading tumor, quite literally living up to its name, but it is rather convenient, and I’m sure a better alternative might become popular enough for Ponybooru to create a group there too.
I heard telegram and zoom are pretty secure. Though the former is especially famous among a certain crowd.

It’s a possibility, perhaps even an inevitability, you throw a group of somewhat like-minded people in a room and it becomes hectic and out of control.
Also look at the people normally in charge of those servers, they’re not that great to begin with. Add a bunch of empty-headed sheep that follow mindlessly and it becomes a mob. Lets just hope they have a better head on their shoulders than the other guys.

It’s not an app, it’s a terribly coded, insecure webpage running on Electron that is very publicly aligned with SJW scum.Discord is cancer, use IRC + any reasonable VOIP program like Mumble, Teamspeak, Ventrillo, etc if you for some reason can’t live without talking.
