Oh, for sure. It can’t really be denied that the games Bethesda makes are
mechanically a lot of fun. I’ll tear apart their bad choices all day but, importantly, I only care because the product isn’t
entirely shit. It’s half shit, half gold. That’s why the shitty parts bother me; they’re stinking up the gold.
Speaking of Todd (and moving on to what I came here to say), they’re releasing an anniversary edition of Skyrim. Whether it’s the anniversary of the 10 year old original release or the five year old special edition, I don’t know. Apparently it comes bundled with
all the creation club content, though, which is something like 80 mini-dlcs. While the re-re-re-re-release thing certainly gets tiresome I have to acknowledge that that’s actually a decent offering for a re-release so long as they don’t jack the price up to $90 or something. Also it apparently offers some new fishing mechanic complete with aquariums and wall mounts for your catches, and I’m admittedly a sucker for a
good fishing game. And they’re actually porting a few things back, which is a nice gesture.
