That might be relevant… if not for the fact that Steam/Valve had nothing to do with the game being pulled and that Red Candle Games, the developer of Devotion, willingly pulled the game from the storefront when their publisher ended their partnership over the incident.

That decision is up to whoever owns the game IP, not Steam/Valve. Instead of republishing on Steam, Red Candle is self-publishing on their own site - https://shop.redcandlegames.com/ - where they can’t be review-bombed.
EDIT: It should be noted, the game was originally slated to release on GOG. Once the drama began, CD Projekt delayed its GOG release, then axed it completely. That was a case of a storefront bowing, if you’re looking for drama to chase.

My download location for GOG games is called Corsair Cove. Lacking DRM kinda does that.

Battlefield was in a sharp bank since the beginning, but it only inverted and plunged towards the ground with BFV. 3 had a horrible launch, mostly broken, fixed later (mostly), but had new features and everyone forgot. 4 had a horrible launch, mostly broken, fixed later (much later), had a lot of features that were good, but also embedded loot mechanics. BF1 doubled down on loot mechanics. BFV added some good things and fixed some issues, but degraded the game in almost every other way to a point of being barely playable. I won’t try the new one, I am done with EA.

Oh, a mod idea I had while creating that SFM picture.
A mod that coverts all the humans in Halo into Ponies, with Master Chief and Cortana replaced with Shining Chief and a holographic Cadance. To go the full nine yards, I’d hire the fandom’s best Shiny and Cadance impersonators to re-record all of their lines from all three games (fuck you if you think Halo 4 and 5 are canon) for proper authenticity.
