Welcome to the problem of large numbers. There is, in fact, enough sheeple who’ll do something because others are doing it, and for a site as used as glutamate (or reddit), it means a very large number of votes is “fake”, done by effectively zombies who upvote/downvote just because the thing is already voted on, not because they approve/disapprove of it.

Thinking about shitposting less. I’m pretty sure people are getting the wrong idea of who I actually am.

Well, my twitter has some pics of me. Been wanting to delete my twitter, but unfortunately it’s where a lot of good artists are.  
In general, even without twitter, I feel like I’m too open with the information I share, and that I’d be easy to find irl if someone set their mind to stalking me.

Drip is one of those people who gained a way over inflated sense of ego because of the fame he got as an artist.  
Doesn’t it’s like he doesn’t realise the vast majority of people follow him because he draws juicy dicks, not because they care about him as a person.  
Of course someone like that would get upset over something as petty as that.

I hate the whole idea of “ZEBRAS ARE BLACKS LMAO XDDD”. Why does the entire species have to be a stand-in? It ruins almost everything it’s used in, not to mention being an extremely lazy way to make them culturally distinct from ponies.
 
I like zebras, but christ if it isn’t getting harder by the day to find new images that aren’t ‘blacks in a savanna horse’s body’. Even then it’s frustrating to see the discussion inevitably allude to or completely shift that direction.

I hear ya there. I too hate the association, especially when zeebs are used in images depicting cuckholding or raceplay. Then I just feel like I’m partaking in someone’s BBC/white guilt fetish.

I mostly agree, though I do like the idea of cultural patterns mirroring our world.  
Like, matching the canon species to a physical location based on the closest culture (like, unicorns being central european, while pegasus architecture reminds me a bit more of greek stuff)

Also because Zecora is assembled from four african cultures. Though admittedly said racist idiots hate Zecora because she isn’t an african-american nigger stereotype, hence making Twilight (and less commonly, other characters) into one instead.
 
Also because incompetent hack writers have turned Equestria from a distinct culture based on USA into literally USA with same shit culture, complete with >literally White Man’s Burden seriously what the fuck writers who thought it was a good idea

Part of me wants to like zebradom because of some of the themes it’s related to, but at this point it’s unarguably “lmao BLACKED” and it’s ruined the entire category. Even unrelated images with zeebs are hard to enjoy sometimes.

I don’t mind allusion, that’s fun, like Zecora’s hut and the decorations within. But when it becomes clear that “oh, they’re just [irl race]”, it stops being interesting. Some try to add some lore and world building of their own on top, but it either feels hollow or like a thin excuse for making them the master race.

The show never even showed other zebras did it? If it did they must not have played a very relevant part.

I do have a friend who’s from Texas, but he’s from Austin or thereabouts, so that doesn’t count.
