For a long time, it was believed that male Wasps cannot sting. Female Wasps develop venomous stingers, but male Wasps don’t develop stingers at all. Logically, we thought that they couldn’t sting. However, we have since learned that male Wasps can, in an emergency, use their long, sharp penises to sting at anything attacking their nests.

Coffee has a chemical in it that tastes really bitter at room temperature. The taste receptor that detects it is inactivated at hot or cold temperatures. That’s why hot coffee and iced coffee taste fine but room temperature coffee tastes awful.
