From what I've been reading, it sounds like they're skipping all the way to Sonic Adventure 2 for the third Sonic movie. How are they going to do it without Robotnik? Jim Carrey retired from acting after Sonic 2.
A group called Team Sea3on is resurrecting SatAM for a third season. They're drawing from unused story treatments from the 90s and even have some people who worked on the show in their ranks. It's kind of like the way the Clone Wars cartoon was brought back for its final season years later, but this is a 100% independent project.
Sonic Frontiers gameplay reveal dropped. The open world setting with handcrafted gameplay challenges scattered throughout brings Bowser's Fury to mind. While there is still a boost button, it seems to be overall slower and more exploration oriented. I'm hoping it turns out good, and sees success, so we can finally move past the boost gameplay. I'd rather see a Sonic Adventure 3 than another 'modern Sonic' game.
