I never understood the point of prison. If the person is so evil that they need to be removed from society just execute them. If not then put them in some sort of work rehabilitation program or something. What's the point of putting someone in a cage for years, or decades, at tremendous taxpayer expense, where they can learn how to be a better criminal and get addicted to hard drugs?
