I started archiving crap. And I frequented /mlp/. Eventually I had a need to identify myself for a few various threads, so 1+1= ArchiveAnon. I had zero plan for this to be a name that stuck but I mean hey whatever works.

My username is a variation of my original youtube username
 
lucid Unrest
 
Lucid meaning awake/aware, Unrest being dissatisfaction. Unsatisfied with the realty of things
 
Luzion is combination of lucid and illusion, being aware of the falsehoods of reality
 
the name kinda resembles the idea of ‘taking the red pill’, unintentionally.
 
Also I thought it sounded cool.

In 2002/3 I tried to get an AOL screen name “SenorDiablo” but it was taken so I settled on “SenorDee”. Everyone started calling me Dee and that’s how I’ve referred to myself online (and now in my books) ever since. In 2006 I started studying Stuart Wilde and changed the name to “UrbanMysticDee” because he referred to himself as an urban mystic. 9,999 people out of 10,000 have no clue what mysticism is.

Wow, everyone has cool name backstories and all I did was look outside for about 3 minutes.
 
I didn’t even capitalize my name.

I chose my name because I happened to be watching Masked Rider. My original idea was to be “in character”,but I didn’t feel like it. Other names I was going to use:Andre Toulon(Protagonist, sometimes antagonist of the Puppet Master films),The Thief,Angus(A character from Mystic Knights),Crybaby Furfag (reference to a name Pinkie calls Fluttershy in an old fan MLP cartoon).  
On YouTube my secondary channel’s name is Omnimon Ramone. Named after one of my favorite Digimon and also my favorite band.

We have about 40 cats living in our barn.

When your family’s business is corn, soybean, and wheat storage, you have a lot mice and rats to deal with.
 
Also, they moved in on their own. We didn’t buy them, they use the barn as a shelter. It’s a mutualistic type of relationship.

I had eye surgery once to remove a damaged part of my left cornea.

We have like 40 cats roaming our damn neighborhood area. A rescue was trying to raise money to go trap and spay/neuter as many as they could earlier this year, but COVID shut them down for good. Sucks, they were where I got both of my dogs and I liked them. Hell, I put in a few hundred volunteer hours there.

“The Outcast” in my personal title is a reference to the song with the same name by The Ghost Inside.

I had sort of the opposite of a hoarding problem. I still occasionally have compulsions to get rid of things. But it used to happen all the time.
