Team Aqua’s and Team Magma’s goals were way to ambitious it my opinion. For Team Flare on the other hand I consider them the most forgettable team ever me and my sister constantly called the Team Plasma by accident because that just how forgettable they were in X and Y and how re-memorable Team Plasma were in Black and White.

I completely forgot about team flare.

I actually like the ideas in Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD of a team creating Shadow Pokemon by closing the doors to there hearts. Team Cipher’s goal of take over world with Shadow Pokemon was a pretty interesting.

I actually never played any of the colosseum games, but that sounds like a kingdom hearts plot.

It may not have the most engaging story and the main reason yes to able to get some of the Jhoto Pokemon to Ruby and Sapphire. Colosseum has you playing as a former Team Snagem member named Wes. Yes I’m a ware of that, but with exception of being able to turn the Pokemon back into non-shadow Pokemon.

I find it weird that Exeggcute now can only learn Stun Spore, Sleep Powder and Poison Powder as egg moves in Sword and Shield when it could learn them naturally in Sun and Moon.

I really like these Unown card from Sun and Moon: Lost Thunder they all got a win condition.

I’m really disappointed that we haven’t gotten a new eveelution. I would love to see a poison or ghost type eevee.

I really don’t get it either. People went nuts for the last one. I think a white eevee with wings would look awesome. Call it soareon or something.

How in the world can you get 35 cards in your hand? Is there no limit?

Likely using cards that let you draw cards or a card that lets you return card to your hands. There is no hand limit. I just looked it up because I was curious about this too.

Yup that’s right. One two are one has 60 HP while the other has 90 HP they also both have different moves. Which I find weird with Poison-types being three different types in the earlier years poison type were grass-type cards then in Diamond and Pearl card series onward they were Psychic-type and now in the Sword and Shield card series they’re Dark-type. These Koffing cards are good examples of that the first card here is from the original Base set the second one here is from the remake series Evolutions and here the last one from Sword and Shield: Rebel Clash.

Be hold the worst Meowth card.

DISCLAIMER: I don’t own SWSH or even Switch, my whole experience with current Pokémon comes from reviews and 3DS/DS titles, so correct me if I’m wrong.
 
Do you think that someday Pokémon will be great again, or the franchise will be turned into FIFA-like (gets new releases, makes money, but people for the most part don’t take it seriously)?  
I have a big concerns that things will turn to the latter especially after this whole GO-Home drama.  
Transferring 4 Legendary mons per week or paying 10 bucks for it. And only one Shiny Legendary for this price? It’s just insane.
 
Games are becoming more expensive while adapting DLC structure instead of “release and re-release”. And despite this the games with DLC’s are 10$ higher then older base games with “upgraded releases” combined. Not talking about additional spends on features like online (which is a must if you want to have fun in raids) and usable version of Home. Despite having pretty good features, DLCs have slightly bitter taste due to paywalling Pokémon (more like selling convenient way to obtain them, but still) and features like Follow. Base games are rushed and it is visible with naked eye, but GF acts like there is nothing wrong with it.  
And worst of all is that the games were successful in sales. I know that thinking that everything happening prior to release will make SWSH fail was a wishful thinking, but it could give TPC a cold shower that would indicate that fans will not buy everything that is thrown at them if it has a Pikachu on it. And now we will likely see more of the same old problems in gen4 reboot and possibly even gen 9. Rushed development, unfinished look, new battle gimmick that will be somehow worse then previous one, and on and on.
 
But the thing I am most afraid is that in the light of GO success, GF will make even more money driven decisions and features. I remember people joking about paying for Follow, and look where we are now.

Personally, I don’t think there’s any chance of them going back. Consumers have shown them that they will buy anything they throw at them. SS sold really well even with all the controversy.
 
Too me game freak isn’t about to become EA, they’re already there. Sword and shield were bare bone games that were boring. Yea they have dlc, but that doesn’t excuse how the game was shipped.
 
I hate the policy of ship now and finish later.

Boy this is reason why I didn’t get Sword and Shield since not only did they not include most Pokemon in it. It had a really short feeling story I mean from what I watched that is.

Yeah. To me it looked like they took popular criticism that “Protagonist is being too OP for a kid” and tried to fix it, but went too far with that. Story feels linear as hell, and has very little impact from MC. You just go from town to town battling people and gym leaders, only to meet Mrs. Exposition Sonia that will tell you everything you need to know about plot, and the most of actually interesting stuff happens offscreen. “Evil team” is shallow, and late-game Gyms are something you will likely see in f2p fan mod made by one guy with a budget of 1 can of cheap beer and 2 sandwiches. And post game… (without DLC) Well, it exists.
 
Also, speaking of Dexit, am I only one so unfortunate that most of my favs are part of 231 still missing mons?

Yeah agree with that completely and the fact that the newer games also like hold your hands on where to go or what to do next.
 
Your not the only one in that I love would personally like to use a Beedrill or one of the Gen 4 starters in the game.

Look at this Meowth card and then look at this Inkay card look at them carefully you’ll notice they have something similar about them. Note both of these cards are from X and Y: Roaring Skies and these two Doduo cards from X and Y: Break Trough have the same attacks.
