I mostly like psychological and existential horror. Don’t really like any horror movies I’ve seen or any horror games I’ve played. But I have a tendency to really enjoy a good horror scene in a fic. The best is when I feel like a character might die or get in proper trouble. Reading horror when you know the main character has plot armour is not very stressful.
Then again, I suppose when you have to constantly remind yourself that “this character can’t die yet, this character can’t die yet” when reading a scene, then I guess it means the tension is already pretty good.

I like Slasher flicks. Friday the 13th is just the best. Horror that tries to be scary bores me though, movies don’t scare me,at best they’ll leave me disturbed or angry, but that’s not fun.
A really good flick that’s on the obscure side is John Russo’s Midnight:
TCM2 is another favorite of mine.
One of my favorite movies ever is American Werewolf in London.
