Also a pointless reboot. They already did the concept in 2000 with the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command movie and subsequent show.

A pointless retcon, then. The conceit of the 2000 series was that it was the real Buzz Lightyear, not a cartoon in the canon.

They also had some tv spots where they edited it into Toy Story 2, where Woody’s Roundup would be. But in the show itself, and it’s concept, it was the real Buzz Lightyear.

Yeah I understand that. But this is what people are treating this new movie like.  
The cartoon exists in the canon of the Toy Story movies. Buzz the toy was made as a tie in to the cartoon and the cartoon was inspired by a “real life” Buzz that this upcoming movie is about.  
And I don’t care about any of that because I think the new movie looks like a lame slog, but everyone acts like it’s something amazing.l

John Gotti was actually a great guy who did a lot for his community and did a lot to curtail crime. The FBI should have never arrested him. The FBI is one of the biggest terrorist organizations on the planet.
